Pornography: The Online Gateway to Trafficking, Exploitation & Sexual Violence
Dan O’Bryant is an advocate in the battle against sex trafficking. As a 2015-16 Fellow in residence at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University, he gave presentations and did research on the topic. He served as the Chairman of the Board of anti-trafficking NGO Shared Hope International from 2013-16 and served on their board until 2022. SHI is an international leader in the fight to bring an end to sex trafficking, particularly of children. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation. NCOSE mobilizes legal, corporate and legislative action to build a world free from sexual abuse and exploitation. In 2021, he joined the Board of Directors of Covenant Eyes, which helps individuals who strive to live porn-free to do so, facilitating transformative accountability relationships through porn-denying software.
He served as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) in the United States Air Force, and as a Law Professor at the USAF Academy.

Sergeant Pat Gallagher started with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office in 2011 and found his passion in the Special Victim’s Unit and with Internet Crimes Against Children from 2016-2023. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2023 and assigned to Internal Affairs in April 2024.
Detective Emilie Green has been the Colorado Springs Police Department since April 2014 and started as a detective in the Crimes against Children Unit in 2017, and then moved to the Internet Crimes Against Children in 2019 and has been actively fighting the war on child exploitation ever since. Detective Green is also the K9 Handler for K9 Luna Pixel, an Electronic Detection Dog, who started her career in protecting and saving children in 2020. K9 Luna was the first EDD dog in the state of Colorado and is a huge asset to the Colorado ICAC Task Force.
Douglas Kasten began his career as an assistant pastor in rural Nebraska and a Bible translator in France and West Africa. Beginning in 2003, Douglas Kasten worked as a police officer, retiring in 2020. For ten years he was a Detective focused on investigating crimes against children. He continues work in law enforcement as a criminal investigator with the 18th Judicial District.
